The Crew

Peter Gottschalk

Peter began taking things apart and putting them back together as a boy, and has been fascinated with making things work ever since. After graduating from the University of Michigan as an American History major in 1974, Peter spent eight years working with ‘at risk’ youth in Ann Arbor, MI and San Francisco. In 1984, after being the fix-it guy at many of the Bay Area’s group homes, Peter decided to make a career change, blending his intuitive ability to repair things with his love for solving problems and Peter’s Repair Service was born. Four years later he became official by obtaining his General Contractor’s license from the State of California. That means he is bonded and you, as a client are protected from all liability pertaining to the job. Peter also thoroughly understands and practices worksite safety and has never had a Workers‘ Comp claim. Peter enjoys fly fishing, hiking, crossword puzzles, the 49ers, lay ministry and spending time with his wife and two adult children. Did I forget to mention he’s also an inventor? Ask him about the Grill Grabber, the Sweep Spot and the Tr’apple-Leen.
